Terms of Service

Welcome to PandaShip. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and PandaShip LLC ("PandaShip," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using our service, you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What PandaShip does
PandaShip is a self-service shipping label platform. We let you compare rates from carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and others) and buy labels to print and ship packages yourself.
We work with EasyPost as our shipping platform partner. EasyPost provides the underlying connections to carriers, payment processing (via Stripe), and label generation. By using PandaShip, you agree that EasyPost may process your account and shipment data to provide these services.
2. Pricing
Our pricing is straightforward:
- Free to sign up. No monthly fee, no subscription.
- USPS labels: pass-through. You pay the carrier's commercial rate. We don't mark it up.
- UPS, FedEx, DHL: small per-label fee. We add a small fee on non-USPS labels to cover the cost of running the platform. The full price (including the fee) is shown before you confirm purchase — no hidden charges.
We reserve the right to change our pricing, but we'll give you notice before any change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a pricing change means you've accepted the new prices.
3. Your account
To use PandaShip you need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information when signing up
- Keep your password secure and not share your account
- Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction)
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. We're not liable for losses caused by someone else using your account if you didn't keep your credentials secure.
4. Wallet and payments
PandaShip uses a wallet system. You add funds to your wallet using a payment method you've saved with us (processed via Stripe through EasyPost). When you buy a label, the cost is deducted from your wallet balance.
Adding funds
Adding funds charges your saved payment method. Wallet credits are non-transferable and may only be used to buy labels through PandaShip.
Wallet refunds
Unused wallet funds are refundable on request. To request a wallet refund, email support@pandaship.com from the email address on your account. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used to add the funds. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
Label refunds
Unused labels — labels you bought but never used to ship a package — are automatically refunded to your wallet within 30 days of purchase, per carrier policies. You can also request a manual refund of an unused label by contacting support@pandaship.com.
Labels that have already been used (scanned by the carrier) generally cannot be refunded.
5. Your responsibilities when shipping
When you create and buy a label, you confirm that:
- The addresses, package weight, and dimensions you've entered are accurate
- The package contents are legal to ship under federal, state, and local laws, and under the carrier's policies
- The package does not contain hazardous materials, weapons, illegal drugs, perishables (unless properly handled), live animals, or any other restricted item per the carrier's prohibited items list
- You have the right to ship the contents
You're responsible for adjustment fees if a carrier determines that your package's actual weight or dimensions are larger than what you declared. These adjustments are deducted from your wallet (or charged to your payment method if your wallet is insufficient).
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you're shipping prohibited items or violating carrier rules.
6. Carrier services
The actual shipping (pickup, transit, delivery) is performed by the carrier you select (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.), not by PandaShip. PandaShip is a platform that helps you buy labels — we don't operate trucks, planes, or delivery routes.
Each carrier has its own terms, delivery commitments, prohibited items list, and liability rules. By buying a label through PandaShip, you agree to the terms of the carrier you've selected. We're not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, damage, or service failures — those are between you and the carrier.
7. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Ship prohibited items
- Provide false information about packages or addresses to evade carrier rules or fees
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the service except as permitted by law
- Use the service in a way that interferes with its operation or other users' use of it
- Abuse our refund or wallet system
- Resell labels or operate as a reseller without our consent
8. Account termination
You can close your account at any time by contacting support@pandaship.com. When you close your account, any remaining wallet balance is refundable on request.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, ship prohibited items, engage in fraud, or pose a risk to other users or to PandaShip. We'll generally give you notice unless the violation is serious enough to require immediate action.
If we terminate your account, we'll refund any wallet balance you have, minus any outstanding charges or adjustments.
9. Intellectual property
The PandaShip name, logo, website, design, and code are owned by PandaShip LLC. You may not use them without permission, except as necessary to use the service normally.
You retain ownership of the content you provide (addresses, package details, etc.). You grant us a license to use that information as needed to provide the service.
10. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- PandaShip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data
- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid PandaShip in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100
- We're not liable for carrier delays, lost packages, damaged shipments, or carrier service failures — those are governed by the carrier's own policies
Some jurisdictions don't allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on certain types of damages, so these limits may not apply to you in full.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify PandaShip against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your shipment of prohibited or improperly declared items
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Content or information you submit to the service
13. Changes to the service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also update these Terms — when we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by a notice on the website at least 30 days before changes take effect.
Continued use of the service after the new Terms take effect means you've accepted them. If you don't agree to the changes, you can close your account before they take effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida. You and PandaShip both consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Miscellaneous
These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and PandaShip about the service. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right. You can't transfer or assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a business transfer.
